Dr. Wiley
Dr Wiley’s family is originally from Cape Vincent, New York. She is one of six kids. Her maternal great grandfather was the lighthouse keeper for the Tibbett’s Point Light House. Her maternal grandparent operated the Carlton Hotel in Cape Vincent. Her paternal grandfather invented the jeep for the United States Army.

She attended Alfred Almond Elementary School as a child then transferred to Thousand Islands High School as a teenager. Summer jobs included a waitress at Aubrey’s Inn, a cash register attendant at Aubrey’s Grocery Store, licensing officer at Gregor’s Tackle Store, and various others at Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine, and Mammoser Dairy Farm in Eden, New York. She attended the Agriculture and Life Sciences College at Cornell University and received a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology. She graduated from NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1998 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

In 1999 she moved to Holley and met Kerri Neale. In 2002, they were married and now have two daughters Kayla and Koryn. They enjoy the outdoors and can often be found kayaking, fishing, four-wheeling, gardening, or other such activities. Dr Wiley is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and NYS Veterinary Medical Society. Over the years, she has given many demonstrations, lectures, and tours to boy scouts, girl scouts, elementary students, and summer literacy programs.

 

AmethystLicensed Veterinary Technician
Amethyst has been employed by Wiley’s Ark since June of 2010. She lives in the local area with her 2 cats Barnaby and Addyson. She received her A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology and passed her licensing examination in 2011. Her interests other than animal care are: spending time with family, hiking, kayaking, reading, traveling, and re-purposing recycled items.

 

 

 

 

 

Julie S., Vet Assistant
Julie joined Wiley’s Ark in Oct 2015. She brings 16 years of experience in the animal field. She lives in Albion on a small farmette with her hubby Ken and their four little monsters! They have lots of critters to keep them busy. Outside of work Julie likes to stay close to home with her BFF (Best Frenchie Friend) “Dexter”. She enjoys baking, cooking AND EATING, reading and anything spooky, creepy, Halloween or horror related!! Julie is enjoying meeting all of our clients and their pets.

 

 

 


Anna, Vet Assistant
Anna has been working at Wiley’s Ark since January of 2016. She has grown up in Medina where she still lives with her cat Charlie, and bearded dragon Sunny. Anna received her A.S. in Veterinary Technology as well as her B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Alfred. Her interests include soccer, reading, canoeing, and spending time with her family.
